Conservative advocacy groups sued the Obama administration yesterday for internal communications regarding how the Interior Department developed a proposal to increase protections for streams near coal mines.
The Energy & Environment Legal Institute and Free Market Environmental Law Clinic are seeking all email and text message correspondence during certain time periods about the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement’s stream protection rule.
