Following is a statement from the Energy & Environment Legal Institute President Craig Richardson regarding today’s decision by a Vermont Court Judge to compel former Attorney General William Sorrell to appear in a deposition regarding ongoing litigation E&E Legal is pursuing regarding the ‘Climate-RICO’ cabal:
The Energy & Environment Legal Institute (E&E Legal) welcomes Vermont Superior Court Justice Mary Teachout’s decision today to compel former Attorney General William Sorrell to appear in a deposition regarding public records he is seeking to hide.  Mr. Sorrell was co-ringleader, along with New York’s Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, in a ‘climate-RICO’ scandal and the records we seek are essential in determining the level of his involvement and to what extent, if any, he may have violated the law.  The public has a right to know, and we look forward to hearing from Mr. Sorrell next week.
