The Democrats efforts to stuff green energy subsidies into the Coronavirus recovery package will not create jobs or help the economy recover, but it will add to crushing national deficits and debt.

It is not clear that we need to spend more money on yet another coronavirus recovery package. It will only add to the national deficit and long-term debt. Rather than spending more money, we should remove regulatory barriers to recovery. History shows that green energy mandates and subsidies don’t create jobs or boost our economic fortunes and they should certainly not be included in any further COVID-19 response bills.
