A coalition of energy experts on Thursday urged the incoming Trump administration to take dramatic action to ditch regulations imposed by the Biden Environmental Protection Agency and unleash American energy, according to a memo exclusively shared with The Daily Wire.
Led by the American Energy Institute, a group of energy experts sent a memo to Trump EPA nominee and former New York Rep. Lee Zeldin ahead of his Senate hearing, outlining 10 steps they think he can take to roll back EPA abuse. The memo was also sent to Trump’s transition team and co-signed by the Energy & Environment Legal Institute, Truth in Energy and Climate, and the American Lands Council…
Another former Trump EPA transition team member who signed onto the memo was Steve Milloy, now a senior fellow at the Energy & Environment Legal Institute. He predicted that the agency would be one of the most resistant to the president’s agenda.
“EPA has a 54-year history of junk science-fueled, job killing environmental overregulation. It is chock-full of anti-Trump ‘resistance’ and will be the toughest agency for President Trump to rein in,” he said.
